Manu Bhaker wins a historic bronze medal in the 10m air pistol event at the Paris Olympics 2024. She became the first Indian Women shooter to win a medal in the Olympics. Her medal is also India’s first medal at the Paris Olympics.

Kerala’s Nayana James recorded a personal best mark, leaping 6.67m to secure the women’s long jump Gold at the 3rd Indian Open Jumps Comopetition held at the Anju Bobby George Foundation on 20/3/24. On a day when no one threatened the Paris Olympics Qualification mark , Nayana broke her personal best to come near the Olympics Qualification mark. Her jump was 16cms off Anju Bobby George’s National Record and 19cms behind the Paris mark.
